Cupid joins Former Ragin Cajun MVP and NFL record holder, Kyries Hebert, as well as Super Bowl Champion Roman Harper at the 2013 Acadiana All Star Gala. The event will be held at The Acadiana Center For The Arts.

This red-carpet, star-studded event offers the opportunity to mix and mingle with celebrities of the weekend. This event will be full of excitement, where guests can enjoy live entertainment and a silent auction.

In 2012, the Ky Cares Foundation welcomed 60+ celebrity guest to The Acadiana All-Star Weekend. Guests have included Terrell Owens, boxing great Roy Jones, Jr. and more! This year Ky Cares Foundation and Harper’s Hope 4*1 will be welcoming more NFL players and professional cheerleaders from across the country.

Every ticket sold for The Acadiana All-Star Gala will sponsor a child to attend the 2013 Kyries Hebert and Roman Harper Football, Cheer, and Dance Camp.

You can pick up your tickets at HEMLINE in River Ranch, or you can grab some online right now through our website: http://ky-cares.org/ $65.00/ticket

Ky Cares Foundation works hard to positively affect the lives of the youth in the N. KY, Cincinnati, and Southwest Louisiana communities. Ky Cares reaches children through football, cheer, and dance camps, athletic scholarships, and also many motivational speeches in churches and schools.

Kyries Hebert did his first camp in April 2010 and that it was a huge success! The camp brought in over 300 kids and 15 celebrities for not only football, but also cheerleaders and dancers. Scholarship money was raised and provided for 150 of the kids. He looks forward to modeling this camp here in Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati in 2011.

Aside from creating programs to enrich the lives of youth; Ky Cares foundation is also dedicated to taking an active role in fundraising for Breast Cancer research. Kyries’ birthday happens to be during the month of October and with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month he uses his birthday as an opportunity promote this cause. Therefore, Ky Cares foundation will continue to host an annual Breast Cancer awareness event.

Since 1987 it has been our mission to bring you the best golf fitness equipment and conditioning tools on the planet. We want you to enjoy the game and play better, longer, injury free golf, and these tools can help you do just that because they work! We appreciate your taking the time to visit our website, and feel free to contact us with any questions.

Over 25 years ago Ken Pierce along with a golf professional and sports physiologist invented a compact but powerful golf-specific training device. They called it a “golf gym” because that’s how you could use it; it did all the things one could do in a gym and was specifically designed to strengthen and improve a player’s golf fitness.

Ken and the team at Advantage Fitness, a sports and fitness marketing company, immediately recognized the benefits of such a device and they coined the name “GolfGym” and patented its unique design. It was soon part of the “Quik-Fit” product line introduced by ABC Sports’ Bud Palmer and endorsed by Bob Toski who called it “the best training and conditioning product ever introduced.”

This is why Shane Doan is one of the best Ambassadors for the NHL and the Phoenix Coyotes! The captain of the Coyotes of the National Hockey League Doan has played 17 NHL seasons with the original Winnipeg Jets/Phoenix Coyotes franchise. He is the last remaining player left from the Jets/Coyotes team when they moved to Phoenix, and one of three players currently active in the NHL from the original Winnipeg Jets.

Doan began his career in the WHL with the Kamloops Blazers in 1992, and would go on to spend three season with the team. Doan was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the first round, seventh overall, in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. He was the Jets’ final first-round pick to play in the NHL prior to the franchise moving to Phoenix. He immediately made the transition from major junior to the NHL in 1995–96 and tallied 17 points in his rookie season with the Jets.

That was Larry Bird and the Indiana State Sycamores.

Sherwood Brown scored 24 points and Bernard Thompson had 23 to lead Florida Gulf Coast to an incredible NCAA tournament debut, a 78-68 win over second-seeded Georgetown on Friday night in the second round of the South Regional.

Ole Miss-La Salle sets up 2013′s most unlikely NCAA Tournament pairing

The sweet sixteen in this years NCAA Tournament will feature either #12Ole Miss or #13 LaSalle! Neither program made the NCAA Tournament from 2002 to this season. La Salle hadn’t been to the Tournament since 1992 and had won only one Tournament game since 1955.

Ole Miss had to rally to sweep the SEC post season tournament and came into the game riding high. Marshall Henderson is perhaps the most creative shot-maker in college basketball. The 6-2 junior can make baskets from just about any place on the floor, no matter whether he’s guarded by two or more opponents.

La Salle’s pressure creates lots of turnovers and is a big reason the Explorers are one of the top scoring teams in the country. 6-3 senior Ramon Galloway, who played his first two seasons at South Carolina, is supported by juniors Tyreek Duren, Tyrone Garland and Sam Mills.

Harvard upsets New Mexico 68-62

The school known for producing U.S. presidents, Supreme Court justices and Nobel Prize winners earned its first NCAA tournament victory Thursday night – a 68-62 upset of No. 3 seed New Mexico – and it didn’t feel like a fluke.

Wesley Saunders scored 18 points and Laurent Rivard made five 3-pointers to help the 14th-seeded Crimson pull the biggest surprise of March Madness so far.

The Crimson shot 52 percent for the game – that’s almost 15 percent better than New Mexico’s stingy defense normally allows. New Mexico, meanwhile, shot only 37 percent.
